New Term at Pre-School

At the beginning of December we had our annual Christmas Fayre at the Parish Hall, which proved as popular as ever raising over £650, which will be shared between the Pre-School and the Church. Many thanks to all who supported the event.

On the last day of term in December the pre-school children gave a great performance of their Nativity play, in front of an audience including parents and grand-parents, and after they celebrated with a Christmas party and a surprise visit from Father Christmas.

Now the children are settling back to school after the Christmas break, The learning theme for this term is “Shopping”, each week the school shop will transform into different shops including Fruit & Vegetables, Chemist, Estate Agent, Pet Shop, Travel Agent and a Bank.
The idea is to learn about the roles of shops, money and how to buy things.

We have a few visits already planned for this term, a trip to St Kew Primary School, Bodmin Fire Station and a visit to the Church.
