News from St Kew Pre-School
At the end of term the children said goodbye to the Pre-School Manager Heather, with a presentation of a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a “handprint” card made by the children.
We would like to thank Heather for all her work with the pre-school and wish her well for the future.
Our summer term has now started, the children are learning all about the classic children’s book “The very hungry caterpillar” they have made a giant paper-mache caterpillar and paper butterflies.
The celebrating summer theme has continued and they have been learning about the summer weather, seasonal fruits and vegetables and had a great afternoon sowing seeds.
The pre-school enjoyed a sunny visit to Trevathan Farm, where they were delighted to pick lovely fresh strawberries and obviously try a few on the way! and had fun watching the farm animals and holding some of the rabbits. Many thanks to the Symons family for their hospitality.
