Meeting up Thurs

As the weather is looking doubtful for tomorrow we thought we would meet at the soft play area in the Pannier Market in Wadebridge at 10.30 instead of the Strawberry Farm. Hope to see you there.

Daymer Bay

What a fantastic day we had at Daymer today. We arrived at about 9.30 and the skies were looking grey but within an hour the sun came out and it was glorious, I even managed a swim in the sea. The children had a great time racing in and out of the water and building sand castles. I forgot my camera again but hopefully someone will have some photos!

It took me back a few years all though I dont remember having
to put on a scarf, hat, high heels and run at my school which was quite funny.
It looked like the children had fun too!!!
Emily certainly enjoyed it, she is very proud of her medal and the fact she had taken part in sports day.
And it didnt rain.
Lets hope it stays nice and sunny for our beach trip tommorrow.

We have been learning about all kinds of machines this term. On Tuesday 15th July Ken brought his tractor down to the school car park for the children to look at and have a turn to sit on. We loved the bright blue and orange colours and the loud noise of the engine. Thank you Ken!

Camel Trail

We all met at Wadebridge on Thurs and set off with bikes and buggies along the camel trail. There were a few falls, William fell into a ditch early on but soon got the hang off it, I think he would have cycled to Padstow given half a chance. Ellie crashed into a ditch full off water and was soaked...luckily we manged to borrow some dry clothes.

We stopped of for a snack almost halfway to Padstow and the children played by the estuary. It took a little longer on the way back, tired little legs needed pushing on their bikes.

Trevathan Strawberry Farm

We had a great trip to the farm...apart from the weather once again. Rain seems to be a recurring theme for our outings at the moment. Luckily it didn't last too long and we managed to pick several punnets of delicious strawberries. Fingers crossed the sun will shine for our annual trip to Daymer Bay!
