February at Pre-School

On our recent visit to Bodmin Fire Station. The children had a great time learning about the fire service and fire safety, Also they had a chance to use the fire hoses, climb on board the fire engines and try on Fire-fighters hats.

We have had a session at St Kew Primary School, which gave the children the opportunity to use the sports and library facilities at the school.

Also this term we are pleased to welcome a few new children to both our Pre-school and Babies & Toddler group.

Many thanks to The Red Lion at St Kew Highway, for their recent Quiz nights to help raise funds for the Pre- School. We were very pleased to receive a cheque for £83.

Our extended sessions are now running every Friday from 9.15am – 3.00pm and cost £9.50 for the day.

If you would like any further information please contact Heather at the pre-school
or come along to our babies and toddler group on a Tuesday afternoon to meet other parents and the pre-school team. All welcome.

Snow Photos

Our wish for snow at the Pre School came true on Monday but too late really for the children to have fun in our garden. I am sure they all made up for this by playing in the snow at home on Tuesday when school was closed. Some children made it to school today (Wednesday) and, as you can see in the pictures, there was plenty of snow in our garden still - what fun we had! The only slight problem was the slippery pathways. More snow is forecast for tomorrow - hooray!
