ST KEW Parish Hall renewable energy project needs people to support its campaign to reduce the carbon footprint of the building and to make running and heating costs more affordable.

In a joint venture between the parish hall committee and St Kew Pre-school, the aim is to install solar PV panels onto the roof.

It is looking to secure funding from EnergyShare but needs people to join www.energyshare.com/st-kew-parish-hall/ to help it to get through to the next round of the application.

This term the children have been very busy, joining in with the royal wedding celebrations by, making flags crowns and biscuits.
They have been looking at people who help us, the pre-school had a visit from 2 local police officers and their police van, and they gave the children a talk about the police and keeping safe.
The staff have also set up a doctor’s surgery at the pre-school and where they have been learning to put on plasters, bandages and slings, and learning about what doctors do. The rest of this term will also feature fire safety, Air ambulance, 999 and beach safety.
The rain didn’t stop the children having fun on the annual easter egg hunt at cardinham woods, they had a trail to follow to collect their eggs, then they enjoyed a welcome drink and snack.
