News

December was a busy month at Pre-school, At the beginning of the month there was the Pub Quiz, Kindly hosted by the Red Lion at St Kew Highway on the night £101 was raised for the pre-school.
Then there was the annual Christmas fayre at the Parish Hall, the fayre was held jointly with St James the Great Church and packed full of lovely handmade crafts and homemade cakes and produce, the day was a great success and raised a fantastic £695 for the pre-school.
The middle of the month we had our first balloon race, tickets have been sold and the winner who’s balloon travels the furthest will win a Sat Nav, over 100 red balloons were launched, Keep a look out in the area there is a prize for the finder.

The children made and decorated their own mini Christmas cakes, they took great pride decorating them.
They were invited by the Primary school to watch the dress rehearsal of the Class 1 Nativity play in the church.

On the last day of term there was a children’s party, they performed a selection of Christmas songs for the parents and Grandparents. Finally there was a very special visit from Father Christmas who brought gifts for all the children.

The new term has now started and they are settling back, talking about the Christmas holidays.

This term the topics they are learning about are being healthy, The Birds in our gardens, Chinese New Year, Valentines week and National Story Telling Week.
